Math Teasers Grade 3 is made for kids in grade 3, so we collect nothing about them. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no names, no emails, no photos and no location. We don't ask for any personal information, and we don't sell or share any.
Stars, stickers, days played and your settings (your Pet Pal, sound on or off) are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to us. To erase them, open Grown-ups in the app and choose Reset progress, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
At the bottom of each page there is a small "Poss Jonah books" link for parents. It leads to an outside website (possjonah.com) and only opens after a grown-ups check (a math question).
We do not use Google AdSense, Google Analytics, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking tool. To know whether the app is being used, we keep anonymous counts only, no cookies, no personal data: when the app opens, when a lesson starts or finishes, and which level is picked, plus the name of the post or link that brought you here (for example "x"). Nothing identifies a child or a device. No IDs, names, or IP addresses are stored with these counts.
Between lessons we may show a small note about our own books and our other free apps. These are plain links we wrote ourselves, not ads from an ad company. A link only opens after a grown-up holds a button for two seconds. Those other websites have their own privacy policies.
The 🔈 buttons read words out loud using the voice built into your own device or browser. Nothing your child types or taps is recorded or sent to us.
The app is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, it may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and the pages requested) for security and to keep the service running. We don't use those logs to identify children.
